Sounds great but this phone refuses to access the internet. I think getting them printed is my only option. Husband has been working on it. my phone is hooked up to a cloud, i just had no idea. But not the old phone, its mostly kaput. Overloaded probably.

@chickisoup,thanks for posting the pictures. I love your setup. I've been reading capricorn farm's coop build feature thread and I am totally impressed with the ideas people come up with to build their coops

Using your breezeway and greenhouse for passive heating in a colder climate is a very clever way to save money. I was showing DH your setup and when he saw your location he asked me how you were heating your greenhouse and if that figured in to your passive heatin?

I especially like the way you can look out the kitchen window and watch your chickens. My coop and run is past the barn and up a slight rise. Our garden, blackberry arbor and orchard are close by which makes it easier to toss treats to the birds.

I put in my Christmas wish list. Only one thing on it this year. I asked Santa to bring me a prefab coop kit that I could set up in my run next to the coop and use as a brooder/nursery/grow out coop. I'd talked to DH about getting one. Like me he has quality concerns and concerns about my back not being able to stand a lot of bending and stooping but said if I could find one that would be easy on my back and had good customer reviews, 'santa' would consider it.

I know I'm pressed for space and adding on to the current shed is out of the question. I have my eye on one. 4.5 out of 5 in reviews and almost 5 feet tall. I figure orschelns are pretty good to deal with and stand behind what they sell. Hopefully it will still be in stock.

Why not build some chicken tractors? Much cheaper, and a fair amount of space. You can close in as much of it as you want. I can look for some pictures if you want.

I have one....the chickens hate it, the cat loves it. But sure, I'm open to ideas.

Serious. DH built a very nice aluminum / wire tractor for me. Getting the chickens into it was an all out wrestling match, getting them back in to the main run almost as bad as getting them in, once out they didn't want in and once in they didn't want out. I had to climb into it more than once to chase chickens out of the tractor. We finally wound up using it as an outside pen for our house cats. They too developed once in, we don't want out attitude. Very frustrating.

It's sitting out in the back yard now. Not quite sure what to do with it, maybe try try again.
