Which explains a great deal as to why far too many of our youth are the way they are.
I agree for the most part with everyone. This generation of people don't think they have to work to get a check.
They feel if they just show up they deserve a check.
They hide in back rooms and closets on their phones all day!
They are suppose to be running a business to earn that check!
They were not taught you must EARN A LIVING!
They should act like adults when they go to work. JMHO
I wonder if this would lend itself to Bonsai techniques?I need to find out more about this tomato tree! Never seen one before. I do have a greenhouse but not sure it's big enough.![]()
It also appears to be grown in a hydroponic system. Hmmm. I think I need to look into the exact environmental requirements for this "tree" (it's clearly been trained) Might be a fun project for me.
That is an impressive amount of tomatoes! Looks as though they are supporting the 'canopy' with a framework of sorts.
Very cool but I imagine you have to have a fairly large green house to grow them.
An Amish farm nearby has a large greenhouse that they are growing tomatoes in. They start in March and produce through fall. I can't even seen that greenhouse being large enough to grow those plants.
"There are a LOT of very immature "adults" nowadays... not just kids."
I've shared the link to your cold weather coops many times, it's a good read![]()
With this cold weather coming I decided yesterday was the day to dig up the mammoth red mangel beets.
Each coop got a wheelbarrow full of tops and small beets. Filled a half a 55gal barrel in the cellar with just the bigger roots. Guess I exaggerated a little on the football size but some of them still got pretty big.
Give the chickens something to peck at this winter.
Not bad for a $2 package of seed and not thinning them out and not keeping them weeded, the weeds choked them out this summer at one point.
Next yr I'm planting more and taking better care of them, supposed to get up to 20lbs ea.

They look like chioggia beets inside, white and red.
Most people do not listen with the intent to understand.
They listen with the intent to reply."
