The Old Folks Home

Got a lot done today - pens all cleaned, finished about 5 gillion loads of laundry (it really backs up when you don't have appropriate water/heat) and finished this quilt

:drool

Ours will be prime rib rubbed with french onion soup mix and cooked in the slow cooker.
Oven roasted new potatoes from our garden.
Green beans.
Home made sour dough rolls
Pumpkin pie.

We are supposed to share dinner with our neighbors also and outside of the sourdough dinner rolls that I'm making, I have no idea whatsoever what is on the menu.

So we are looking at two Thanksgiving dinners. Cool.

Yeah I've been at this one about a year, between piecing and quilting. After I pieced it it sat upstairs for 3 months or so before I could stand to look at it again. I always have multiple projects going on - it's like crafting ADD - if I get bored with something I just pick something else up.
Tomorrow I go back to working on piecing the outhouse quilt.

After my hysterectomy i worked on a quilt and walked every day. Not much else i could do. Took me 6 weeks solid to finish it.
