The Old Folks Home

:love That'll be perfect. Are you going to shellac it to keep it from getting weathered?

I'm in pillowcase hell. Got 4 sets done in the last 2 days.
Yeah, i am going to seal it. But you are making great headway.
I poured concrete, moved 2 loads of dirt in the mule and planted 2 bushes and tulips today. Tired.

I have to fast, so no more food for me till late tomorrow afternoon when I get home. :hit
Um, some reason you couldn't have packed a lunch???? A little something to tide you over after they sucked the blood out?

Hahaha you probably should get an easy type pen in case you get stung again.
They have generics now, maybe $200? Not sure, check around.
Even $200 is pure greed. My understanding is the actual drug is very cheap, you are paying for Mylan's patented auto-injector pen. Maybe @superchemicalgirl can tell us what a vial costs. Yes, Mylan makes both the "original" and "generic". Apparently the current price is ~$300/2 pack.

This from Time (2016)
"Today, EpiPens, which cost Mylan around $30 to produce, go for over $600 before coupons or rebates."
http://time.com/money/4502891/epipen-pricing-scandal-big-pharma-politics/

This from Mylan 1 year ago:
"Mylan’s Epinephrine Injection, USP Auto-Injector is the same as EpiPen Auto-Injector, including dosage, administration and formulation. The only difference is the label, which does not include the EpiPen® brand name."
Given that, WHY would anyone buy the brand name version????

It might be OK if they lasted forever but at the price they charge having to throw them away every year is just ridiculous. I would be sorely tempted to make up a couple of syringes and carry those. My wife is on injectable meds for RA. She does NOT like the auto-injector and gets prefilled syringes instead.

agian cant catch up but...

Just got back from the GYN. She did a biopsy of enteruterine tissue, of Cervex tissue and of tissue along the vagina.... not as painful as i was expecting...

Next step is a referral to a Gynocological Oncologist.... No matter the results... Takes about three weeks for approvals.
