In Alaska ........ The person that took the photo had just lost a beloved horse and went out to take a photo of their other horse, And this is what they got.— with Irene Bencomo.

I love your rescue cat. Thank you for taking him in. The starving one we brought inside about 13 months ago is snoring on top of my pillows right now. He's friendlier than the other two we have (on purpose)!

Hopefully they'll like the dog.
Thank you SCG and everyone. Good luck with your introductions.

After everything he had been thru I totally expected it to take some time for him to trust us that's why I gave him his own "safe place" to hang in until he was ready. He came out almost immediately on his own, came right over to me, hopped up in my lap and fell asleep purring. He wanted to do nothing but cuddle, purr and sleep in my arms or DH's lap for days. He still sleeps in "his" room at night so I know he's safe and to give Angel a bit more time to adjust because I know the real challenge will come the first time he tries to crawl into our (aka Angel's) bed. That was where she drew the "sharing" line with our old kitty.
He acted like a totally normal kitty for the first time this morning, running thru the house full speed, attacking the throw rugs and chasing my fingers. I guess he's home.
