The place we go to here has computers in each exam room that they use to send the prescription out. The Rx is usualy ready by the time we get to CVS at the Target store across the city. Takes about 10 minutes to get thereI went to 2 drs this week, both were supposed to send in Rxs. The pharmacy has nothing! It just kills me because when i worked i did that job and made sure they were all done in a timely manner. I was last out the door every Friday getting those done.

Dedication!I always had prescriptions called in or faxed before the patient left the office so I could tell them that their RX was waiting for them at their pharmacy.
I have heard that walmart does a good job with their pharmacy!I first had the mail order from aetna so many auto calls had them like 2 years asked so many times do not call you are able to email right still up to 5 calls a week... just changed to pickup at Walmart
@superchemicalgirl 'Bah humbug'? Do I sense a bit of holiday burn out? Sounds like somebody needs a hug.How did your staff like their gift pillowcases?

Good point!Just been a very hectic week at work. Most of the staff liked their pillowcases. Some didn't say anything. Others who didn't say a thing came to me later in the week after having tried them (or had them confiscated by kids) to tell me how much they liked them and how soft they were.
The baby blanket was gushed over by a non-recipient of it...
Oh, well.
Can I tell you this in the nicest way possible... the pharmacy staff curse you if you tell patients that because the patient absolutely expects that Rx be ready when they get there. You do not work for the pharmacy, so you don't know that the Rx will be ready when the patient gets there. Period. I can't tell you how many times I got "well my doctor's office said it would be ready when I got here" and I had to explain that they didn't for for my pharmacy so they didn't know whether we had it in stock, was covered by insurance, the pharmacy was insanely busy, the patient wasn't in our system... There's 400 reasons why it isn't ready, none of which include the pharmacy personally screwing said patient, but they don't want to hear it because all they heard was it was going to be ready when they got there and now they want to yell at me and my staff for personally singling them out for being screwed.
Rant over.
