Just major slipped and fell - all weight on my right wrist then onto my buttcheek. Ouch. Cried. Then FedEx got stuck in my driveway.

My dad made it for us the very first time I ever tasted it.... MOM hates lamb.... But he slit the meat and stuck garlic half cloves in All over... Then put Rosemary on it and salt and pepper. It was a lean roast thats key the fat carries the gamey bits. Also lamb... like pork can be gamey if you get an older cut or in the case of pork left in tact....I like lamb but my Youngest is not a fan of it. She says it is too gamey tasting.
Thanks for the lamb tips!
snow crab big time.... Salmon cooked in parchement with lemon and dill and capers and a little pat of butter. Yellow Tail Collar char grilled and picked clean with your fingers as you eat it... Ponzu sauc...Not too much sounds good to me right now but I could sure sit down in front of a big platter of snow crab and jumbo shrimp and demolish it in record time. I think sea food is my favorite meat by far along with fish. I'm not too much of a beef fan. I think it stems from the time my gall bladder was going bad and I got roaring sick on roast beef. The smell of it is enough to make me back away now although I do love the occasional medium rare steak.
Made it out to take care of the chickens, although the bachelor roosters got loose on me and invaded the standard sized bird's pen. One of the bantams flew up into the coop and my watch dog hen, a speckled Sussex named Speckles chased him out. She is a funny little girl. While the other birds will scream and thrash about if a 'strange' rooster even looks at them, Specs will stand up on her toes, raise her hackle feathers and send them scooting. I've seen a few bantams square off with her and she generally wins the challenge. I still felt too crappy to chase them down and stuff them back in their pen so I wished them well and exited stage right.
Winding down. I did manage to get a little done around the house but the sofa is beckoning to me along with a big glass of iced ginger tea for my stomach.

Vermont was a BIG lamb state back in the early/mid 1800's. Not so much now.I agree. Unless you live close to someone that raises them for meat.
Oh I do hope you are OK!! I chipped a bone in my right hand and pulled the ligaments up falling that way. Hand in a cast up to my elbow for a month or so. Learned to mouse left handed.Just major slipped and fell - all weight on my right wrist then onto my buttcheek. Ouch. Cried. Then FedEx got stuck in my driveway.

Like your priorities.....Ouch!
I dropped a Pyrex bow that had home made ice cream in it. Some how I managed to step on a bigger piece of glass getting it cleaned up and put a cut in my left heal. I noticed it after I had cleaned everything up saw blood on the floor(I knew I had stepped on it but did not know it had gone through the callous).
Odd how we hurt our selves!
Now I need to make more ice cream....
