The Old Folks Home

Great afternoon here. We walked up to the neighbors to see their new lamb. Super adorable little fuzz ball the whole sum of 24 hours old. A little snow white ewe lamb. Mamma's first lamb. They also had a new dog. Somebody from their church was having 'problems' and asked if they could take their dog. In all my almost 65 years, I have never seen a GSD as big as this one is. Griff is 5 years old and the top of his head is at my hips. 5 inch feet and if he wasn't badly underweight he would be an absolute moose. The good thing is that he was as friendly as a pup and was made to be a big family's dog. The kids were crawling all over him and he was lapping up the attention.

I thought my Topper was a big dog but this one makes him look like a dwarf.

I spent the rest of the afternoon working out in the runs, repairing fences. One of the bantam boys managed to get in with the standards and I saw him get in a fight with a rooster three times his size and watched him drag the big boy around the run by the back of his comb. If it hadn't been so painful to watch it would have been funny. Naturally I rescued the big boy and got the mini tyrant back where he belonged. Such impressive little fighters. It's not the size of the bird in the fight but the size of the fight in the bird.

Walking Dead... I love watching post- apocalyptic shows and movies, but when they get all weird, or zombies, not interested much. I've only watched a couple Walking Dead, but it sure is popular, 'cult' following.
The old show Jericho was one of my favs, then not long ago Revolution, until it got all weird and unrealistic.
There's quite a few good one's, I even watch all the asteroid/tornado/doomsday movies.
I just prefer the realistic, like it could actually happen one's.
