Good morning everyone

Morning back to you, MrsMistyReal! Always look forward to your morning greetings! You really let your light shine and that cheerfulness is truly appreciated as it is contagious!

Starting to rain here this morning. My back started spasming last night. DH said I was walking like a crab. It's some better this morning. I was shoving furniture around again yesterday afternoon so it's my own fault. You would think I would learn :idunno

So I'm sitting here at the computer with a cuppa in one hand and the bottle of muscle relaxers in the other and hoping they both soon kick in,

Surprisingly enough, I thought that would be it for Cuddle Monkey also but nope. I think I brushed one little turd off of a leg, took it outside, beat the chip and dander out of it, brushed it thoroughly and sprayed it with lysol. He was good to go. I imagine it will have to be retired and a new stuffed toy bought. But for now it is once again a surrogate mother hen for little chicks.

The worse disaster to befall Cuddle Monkey was when the dog got a hold of it and chewed off a leg. She thinks all stuffed animals are hers. Luckily I was able to stitch his leg back on. Now he hangs (velcro on both hands and feet) from a wire shelf in our hobby room awaiting for his services to be required again.

I have to admit that at first I was a little hesitant about using it. The toy had been in the office for years. Then I had a revelation about the cleanliness of a hens belly and decided that "Monkey" was probably cleaner.
You can get used stuffed toys at Goodwill cheap. Wash and go.

When you need to replace Cuddle Monkey, get something washable, and toss it in the washing machine as needed.

Vacuumed, and ran the floor scrubber. Ready for next round of assorted goop and sticky stuff.

The temps are going down some. It'll get down to the high 40's this weekend, then will begin climbing back up. Good daytime temps. Not too hot, not too cold.
You needed a cleaning crew!

Enjoy the clean house...until the next time Family visits!

Time for me to brew a pot of coffee!

I am sorry for the back spasms...that makes for a very rough night.
