I really need an accurate scale but need the "read out" up near my face - not near the floor (can't see over my stomach).

I bought an "Eat Smart" brand scale from Amazon last year. Big numbers (to the tenths for the OCD types) that stay lit after you step off.

I should tell the dentist to not bother taking my blood pressure too! I wonder if he would refuse to clean my teeth if I did that....I have white coat high blood pressure and it freaks them out

That is so weird, I've never had my BP taken at the dentist. OK, MAYBE when the root canal was done, I don't remember.

Of course i don't use my feet making cages!

You could make them twice as fast using 4 appendages at the same time!

Morning all. Woke up to the 1/2 inch of snow they predicted overnight here plus at least another 1 1/2 inches so far. Figures that we don't have any appreciable snow all season and with spring around the corner it dumps on us.

No internal pips yet. Eggs just sitting there looking like eggs. I think this is the part of hatching that I hate the most. Since I hand turn I spend three weeks on a schedule then suddenly find myself standing there waiting for something to happen. And waiting and waiting......

SGC, thank you so much for remembering the veterans. Your quilt top is beautiful as always. Anyone would be proud to own it.

All my clocks change automatically. I forgot the time change. No wonder everyone was sleeping in so late!

Got the top done for my Veterans PTSD charity done. Someone has volunteered to quilt it, so I don't have to do that part of it. It's sitting on top of the backing, so it does look a little weird and uneven (wanted to make sure I had enough overlap before I declared I was done).

The quilt will be auctioned off, with the proceeds to the PTSD treatment program.

Ok, headed off to work. Y'all have a fantastic day. The dog is still snoring, now in front of the stove on her bed... she slept most of the day yesterday after our walk, woke up for about an hour last night to play with a squeaky toy, then snored on the bathroom rug all night until I forced her to get up at 0500 to do the chores with me.

A tired puppy is a happy momma.

I bet she's going to want to do the 4+ mile walk again this afternoon.

That is going to be a fantastic quilt!

The clocks change for daylights saving time about 50\50 here my house. The battery operated wall clocks have to be changed and I need to change the one in the thermostat.
