Um Ron? It is SAD when people do sh1t like that regardless if whether they care about cooking or not. What ever happened to caring that you do a job properly??


Too dry, too damp? We bought some cheese last fall from the family of one of the Farmer's Market vendors (meat). I think it was too dry. One was supposed to be a Gouda type, I think that should have a slightly creamy texture.

I know! It is terrible what you get for craftsman ship now a days

the cheese good for moisture. I did not get the curds melted correctly so there is a bit a bit crumbly. Not bad but not quite correct.

It will be better next time!

Not in lot's of combat, but still around him I bet. More than the majority of U.S. citizens, or majority of military.
DW's cousin was a Seabee in Iraq, she never fought a combat mission but had plenty of bullets and bombs flying around.

No Bruce, not 2 inches 3+ inches, heavy wet stuff. And when the most you have had is 2 inches all year. Especially when it's almost the end of March.

We actually moved here for the milder winters. Only took us 60 years to come to the conclusion that IL winters hurl.

Supposed to miss us again, 2-4. But the weather man said 16" last time and we got 3. Still have over a foot out there, hasn't been warm enough to melt it down yet. Had 17* last night.
I know what you mean though micro, move to get away from it lol.
Those southern states that don't usually get snow go right into complete chaos when they do get a little. Doubt any of them bother with snow tires.

Yeah, I know....almost makes me feel guilty for complaining.......almost. But you guys living out in the north east are used to not having spring until what? July? August? DH was raised in WI where he said they had two seasons. Winter and July. Me, I want SPRING AND I WANT IT NOW! BLAST IT!

We had a LOT of cold this year that lasted for a long time but we didn't have any snow, at least not the way y'all out east have had. It's been miserable out there for you.

I'm just so ready for spring. Not so much SPRING but spring as in warmer temps. We had a couple of weeks of nice pre spring weather here. The birds were returning, the geese were migrating in mass. The blue birds are nesting in my nesting boxes. The weather man said only a dusting of snow. Not even a half an inch. DH woke me up yesterday saying. Better brace yourself and look outside.

Let's just blame the weather man. It's all their fault!

DH was raised in WI where he said they had two seasons. Winter and July.

I heard we have two seasons, winter and road construction.
It can be nice, just varies. Can be 80* on Monday in March, then snowstorm and teens. Not safe from frosts till Memorial weekend. Dad always says we only have two months of summer but he works outside all yr and likes it 95 in the shade. I consider June through Aug summer, though it can be hot earlier and later, and June can be no better than May, which has it's moments also. I like it when winter holds off till the end of Nov, happens, usually gets me in trouble though, get spoiled and don't prepare. Then it hits hard and is too late Lol.

Well the Red winged blackbird is back this month but, was not in the company of robins, as usually happens. I hope the Robins aren't socked in somewhere. I miss them
