Fluff ball overload! Those chicks are super, SGC. I love the first little chick. It' s probably all down but what a little doll baby. I also like the show girl.

Got my four over into the brooder and they are starting to eat.

I think I have empty incubator syndrome

Oh and i have already started collecting more guinea eggs....and my bators are only partly empty!

It's just so weird. For three weeks, I'm turning, rotating, marking, candling, locking down, waiting, then in 24 hours the incubator is empty. I'm still looking at the clock and saying, It's 1pm I need to turn the eggs.

Guess I don't have any option other than to start staring at my seed planters and waiting for the seeds to germinate.

I'm not sure that Miss Piggy, the showgirl I have, is a girl or not. Never crowed or laid an egg or mated... so??

I got these from Al's Quackery, which is down by Portland. 17 is the total number, the rest were dead in shell, in various stages of ick. Most were fully formed, some were incredibly wet, others were very dry. Some hadn't absorbed the yolk, others had. One had quit early in the game and was a very icky smelly mess.
