The Old Folks Home

Last time i got dressed up was when son got married, like 8 years ago.
In other news, i talked to the doctor and he is not sure my results are in yet but the nurse will call me back. Maybe i will have a mixed drink with my soup for lunch! Not knowing is killing me.

DH and I got married in shorts and a tank top for me and a polo shirt for him. Best man and matron were dressed the same. That is about as dressed up as I've been in the last 13 years. Now it's whether or not to get dressed or head out to feed the chickens wearing fleece lounge wear and a thermal shirt. Learned that they don't care what I look like as long as I have a bucket of feed in one hand and 3 cups of sunflower seeds in the other.

Speckles was good with the oil and massage. Bless her she is such a sweet natured little hen. I don't think her 'wad o crap' was quite as solid. Plus I threw an arm load of old apples in the run and they were off to the races to see who would catch them first.

Here are my baby plants. I have to say I am very pleased with the germination rate. Here where we are in MO not much use to even think about setting plants out until middle or late April.

Wow! This story had it all. I was sad then angry, then happy... Now I'm curious wht the wood panels on the sides are for? Maybe our resident gravestone expert can guess? What say you SCG???

I'm almost over my 3rd round of pluirsy last wed. I coughed so hard I cracked a rib on my left side. I called dh at work told him to get me a couple ace bandage and some Robitussin. I've been on antibiotics for 9 days. Yesterday I was finally strong enough to cook supper.

That's super scary! DH brought home something nasty that 2 of the 3 kids are down with. He's on planes out of state all the time, so God only knows what it is. :hitLast night DD was coughing so hard she was puking. Getting a pill into her is impossible. I was getting desperate & had to hide a Sudafed in a spoonful of ice cream. It brought back a lifetime of memories dealing with dogs. When she finally got it down I said, "Whos a good, good girl? Yes you are! Now lets go outside & go potty." ...She wasn't amused.

All kidding aside, I hope this last round of antibio's does the trick & you feel better soon!!! :hugs

Wearing clothes vs PJs is about as dressed up as i get.
