The Old Folks Home

Ok now I have serious schedual revision to do... Got the Cardiologist move that was a biggie. But my regular care peeps have a couple of stumbling blocks. its hard to get appointments with them. Because its essentially a free clinic situation. but I will get to keep the important one the one with my personal doc... basically to cover over the last month and renew my meds...

BF is currently upstairs cleaning up copious amounts of dog diarrhea. Then tonight he gets to do all the animal chores.

Should have chosen to crate the dog this morning.

He chose... poorly.

Nope with the exception of the panic room we only have hardwood.

Luckily.

Have to admit as bad of a day as I had, that the DD (with apologies to Diva) was upstairs and Roomba was currently running downstairs.
a very very very nice thing to not have carpet

:sick

So sorry for the doggy issue feed him a baked potato it will help that
I spent 4 hours with Del in my computers remotely trying to get internet restored on his computer loaded 10 but it dumped our network error said cannot reload no rescue ever
given on his system so it is Del will have to do it over

We don't have carpet. Laminate throughout, thank God. With an old dog with leaky plumbing and an old cat with diabetes there isn't a carpet made that would survive life in our household. Plus with our allergies we don't need the dust and dander. As it is we sweep and mop on alternate days. More often if somebody is leaky. Our border collie started leaking about 8 years ago only when she is asleep. Doc said she had a reaction to having been spayed and her bladder was like a menopausal woman's I thanked him and told him he was all heart as that was what I was going through at the time. She takes Proin...wish I could at times.

We got a nice walk in and visited with two neighbors, not to mentioned got rid of 4 dozen eggs. I unloaded 300 pound of feed and called it quits for the day.

Don't think that we are going to get lucky enough to dodge the bad weather coming in. Snow tomorrow then record low of 16-17 Saturday morning and more snow on Sunday. Bright spot is that they are calling for warmer temps next week. Looking ahead to 60 degree temps is better than 17.

Baked potatoes, huh? Whow! Nice tip.

Vet told us to always keep Pepto Bismol on hand to use whenever the dogs get a case of diarrhea. He said it would both control the runs and the acetylsalicylic acid it contains helps sedate the animal so they rest.

They can also take Immodium.
