Dh brought some sort of "bug" home from work. He got over it, and gave it to me. It's hit me hard. Fever, chills, aches, stuffy head, diarrhea, the works. I'm a little better today, but still feeling very rough. I'll call the doctor, if I'm not significantly better tomorrow.
I hope you fell better soon!

Glad you going to the Dr Wow... I have a appointment with mine at 2:30 this afternoon takes about 45 minutes to get there

Lots of wasps here. We have one called Yellow legged wasp. Black with, yeah, yellow legs. Very aggressive and they love fruit. I was picking blackberries when I first got hit by one. My whole hand swelled double. Next year, took a sting to my thumb but this time I was ready. I had talked to my doctor about my reaction and he told me that wasp venom reaction is cumulative. The more you get stung and the more frequently, the worse your reaction. I have to carry an epi pen now. Thankfully I've never had to use it.....yet. The first sign of a sting, I immediately take three benedryl and a singulair and apply ice packs to the sting. I still get the crushing headache but the swelling isn't nearly as bad nor is the pain.

Sorry to hear that you aren't feeling well @getaclue. Sending get well wishes your way.

Last Fall I walked into a little wild native wasp. It stung me several times and caused welts and a bit of swelling. A couple of day later, I had a secondary reaction to the stings. It is a type of allergic reaction that can take time to show up. Those were much worse than the bee stings
