ago when I had a physical in September. I'd been outside a ton all summer working on all the "farm" projects. I must be seriously deficient. I've been taking 1,000 units daily since.
you live too far north.

The sun's rays don't help as much the further away we go from the equator.

we sleep on a queen, but have king sized blankets. Less fighting that way. :old
Yep, something not right with Queen size comforters being slightly wider than the bed ... until you put 2 bodies in it and get gaps at the edge. We had a king comforter on a queen bed.

Guess it is a good thing they have little pills to help with that.
Can still get a bad sunburn up here though!!

BF should have just slid over and cuddled in the warm area :)
We were at 80°F 2 days ago and will barely make 50°F today, time to fire up the wood stove.

If her BF (or she herself) is anything like me, I can't sleep or be comfortable when in direct bodily contact with another. If I get chilled, I can add extra covers with no issues. I can kick them off if I get too warm. When I'm in contact with another body, it's like turning on a heating pad and I overheat within minutes and start sweating. I HATE trying to sleep in wet sheets... :tongue I see these mattress commercials with people all spooned up together, wearing PJs, and under the covers, and I cringe. For me it's like how is that even possible? :idunno

...an air show at the local air force base. Normally, they only do the pre-exhibitons for air force families. This year, they decided to honor law enforcement, and their families. They extended an invitation to them to attend for free. The public is not invited, so it won't be overcrowded.

I spent 24 years in the military and went to and participated in many air shows and have never heard of one being closed to the public? Really? The entire purpose of the airshow is to build civilian support for the armed services. I've never experienced any "pre-exhibitions" that were closed to the public? :idunno Maybe they just mean that they are opening the gates a little early for first responders and the like?

We missed out on a air show when we went down to Virginia beach last year. Went to a airplane museum and they had a air show the weekend before. The museum was awesome anyway though, multiple hangers tons of old planes and they actually still fly all of them. Largest collection of old warbirds in the world they said. Pretty amazing the older ones that look like they are made out of metal are actually painted canvas over top of wood framework, with little bitty cables controlling the flaps. Those that flew those things in battle had some serious cajones. They also restore old planes there.

This one ^ they said was the actual plane that was involved in the worst naval disaster in history and worst shark attack in history. The Japanese sunk a battle ship and hundreds of people were stranded in the ocean being ate by sharks for days. The guy flying the plane spotted them and disobeyed orders, landed the plane in the ocean so they could climb on to it until help arrived. Guess they made a movie about it also. Just looked it up 'USS Indianapolis: Men of Courage' with Nicolas Cage.
