The Old Folks Home

2 nights ago, I made a huge pot of Spanish garbanzo bean soup. When it was done, I shoved it in the fridge. I was going to serve it the next night for supper. I did, and had quite a bit left, so was going to call my other daughter to come get some too, since she loves my Spanish garbanzo bean soup. Dd #1 heated it back up, and served it for lunch yesterday. Last night, I went in to cook, and everyone (except Dh. He doesn't like anything with beans) said they'd rather have more soup. We finished it off. Of course, we paired it with a loaf of good Cuban bread that I had buttered, and put in the oven to toast.

That sounds yummy!!! :drool

Micro, I'm sorry, but your drooling cat has me :lau:gig:lau.

Chicka, that looks extremely uncomfortable! :( I hope the swelling goes down quickly. :fl

Our drooling cat is our one we call Bob Cat tabby grey with a bit of white they stay outside

I became a first time cat owner of two full grown, indoor cats a few months ago. One of them sleeps right next to my head... I can imagine she'll start drooling on me & my pillow in her old age. :lau

Root Beer cooked ham?:drool Yummo! Nothing ethnic in the Ham Radio group. I'm probably as close as ethnic as it gets with my Native American and Pennsylvania Duetch genetics.

My church back in IL was predominately German and man the food was to die for when they had pot lucks. German potato salad which if made right is not vinigery and sour. Not so much ethnic, but pecan pie, German Springerly and Lebkuchen cookies. German style noodles......making myself hungry. Got on the scales this morning and discovered I've lost a total of 13 pounds so far. Only 17 more to go!:celebrate
see I have never been around good german food.... Except Saurcrout... .... and maybe Cabbage rolls...
