The Old Folks Home

High 90s today, we were lucky we had days of rain before this heat wave. Not sure if the garden needed it, but I soaked her good early before the sun peaked out. Now for another cup of joe. And then to change some truck tires for BIL. Got lucky he dropped them off yesterday with extra rims so I could get to them when I felt like it. Was going to do them after the sun went down but it was still to darn hot in the garage. Hopefully I get them done before he stops so I don't have to deal with him, he's kinda annoying and so are his kids. Lol..

Good morning everyone hope y'all enjoy your day:love

It's about 78 degrees here now. It will be 90 tomorrow, until the rains, then it will go back down. The low is 74 for tomorrow night. Neener, neener....:tongue:tongue Don't worry though, it will be HOT by August, and even worse in September. It was not hot here during the winter, but no snow, no ice, no freezing blizzards, except at Dairy Queen.
:tongue Yourself! Take back your weather and return ours to us!!!!

I am very excited! The cheddar I made was very good but takes two months to cure. I plan on starting a Gouda next weekend. Gouda takes three months!
:drool

Ron that cheese looks amazing .I did a cheese workshop a dew years back. Are you able to find unpasteurized milk there
I am using Mesophilic starter from cultures for health. It works with milk that is not ultra pasteurized. If the label has UHP on it then it wont work. It is fairly easy to find milk that works.
