when we have to drive an hour and a half to shop it does take the wind out by the time we get home we always go to dinner or I make pizza

So it's not just me. lol It just makes it hard to do anything when we get home. Especially after walking through all the stores.
We ran into a couple with two sick kids coughing and runny noses. I tried to duck hold my breath and took off! I sure hope I don't get sick again!

They finally came and mowed and baled the remainder of our pasture that we hadn't mowed. Went out to discover that the baler ran over one of my pumpkins.All my squash and pumpkin vines are whithering and dying from the heat and no rain. Storms skirted to the south of us today. Just rumbles of thunder in the distand. What a tease mother nature is.

I love the pics of the kids and dogs. Poor youngsters. Having their little worlds turned up side down and then to get hit with the green apple two step and the creeping crud is no fun at all.

The leaves are falling off our trees, it is so dry. Really wish it would rain.

sTRANGE LOOKING veggie that smells like licorice.... Possibly Fennel

Added to soups and stews.... or sliced very thin and tossed in salad.... Very mild flavor just adds crunch and aeromatics to salads.
