We need to set up some sort of 'virtual' flock for members of the forum that are chickenless. I'm sure somebody could figure out how to do that.
yep Orr had to evacuate.... had to leave her chickens....There is a new fire and it is near the city where my Mom is staying with my Sister as she recovers from back surgery. She is on the other side of Redding and is fine so far. Very Scary!

There are instances of either late notification or where communications have broken down... They were notified about a half hour before. The fire was moving fast.I may have to evacuate sometime in my lifetime, but I'm not leaving my chickens. I have enough cages, and enough room to get them to safety.
