Agree with Cap. Ron. I know you want to wait till you retire but, but, but, you know. I don't think California will last that long

I agree Cap, scary as it sounds poor California seems to have the cards stacked against it. If the earthquakes aren't trying to shake it into the ocean (I keep remembering that terrifying scene from the movie San Andreas) The wildfires are trying to turn it into a crispy critter. Then if that doesn't get it, HEY! how bout a drought just for fun?!
When we were kids we all thought Cali would just be THE place to live. Now all I can say is, Ron, retire early, move east and don't look back.
Just went out and locked up. Gathered eggs. I have a little bantam cross rooster named Timmy who is a real card. Tonight I gathered eggs, put my basket on the floor so the hens wouldn't knock it off the nesting boxes. Timmy walks over to it looks down at the dozen or so eggs and starts screaming his head off in that really obnoxious way that roosters have. Went on forever until I picked up the basket, tipped it so he could see and said. They're eggs dummy! Shut up! He peered inside, checked them over and walked away. DH said maybe he was telling the hens that he found all their missing eggs and they could come and set on them now.
Wouldn't put it past them.
Y'all have a good night. Be safe wherever you are.
