DH came through his surgery with flying colors. The Basal Cell was the best kind to have if there ever is such a thing. 100% cured with excision. He has 8 sutures in a 1.5/2.0 inch wound. 2 weeks before the sutures come out.

I really like this Dermatologist. They let me watch!

Now if I can get through my rheumatology appt as well on Wednesday, I'll be a real happy camper.

My husband's dermatologist's office gave him a t-shirt that says 'Get Naked #Melanoma Kills!'

I don't know how I've gotten off so lucky. I went through my youth sunburned. So far, no skin cancers. Guess somebody figured I had enough going on with my joints and cut me a break.

another sad thing ... just the town over, and just blocks away from 3 different kids of ours that live there, a small plane crashed into a home! That home is right up on a mountain side, a very dry mountain side. Thankfully the firemen got out there quick, got the fire out. Pilot dead, the two folks in the house lived! They explained that it was a huge fireball, engulfed the main part of the house. It happened around 2:30 in the morning, so guessing the people were asleep. 2 story home, and also guessing their bedrooms were upstairs. No details as to why it happened

News says it was another suicidal pilot - it was his own house. If he was trying for murder/suicide, it's a blessing that he didn't succeed.

Then couldn't resist snapping the bantam pig out over a half chewed on ear of sweet corn. They are such darling little vultures.
