Put his stinky clothes in his car. When he can't get in anymore, he might do something about it.Speaking of him, I got tired of picking up his clothes (off the floor) and decided to just haul them to the bedroom and leave them in a pile for him to take care of. So over the weekend I ended up doing 5 loads of laundry, as they sat there so long they started getting musty in the humid weather we have had for weeks![]()
Sounds like nice friends! The problem I've found though is even if the inside of the coop is nice and dry, they track in muck from the run and dry becomes damp on top real fast.
Got the little stinkers moved and the brooder dumped out. They are standing there with huge eyes watching the other bantams move about the coop. Mamma Betty who has 4 chicks still following her around at 8 weeks came over and checked them out like she was thinking they were hers. Her #5 chick a little cockerel has weaned himself from mamma. Yesterday he was fighting with his brother. It was pretty interesting watching the mature hens run up to them and try to break up the fight. One of the oldest of the group finally chest butted them and then gave them each a peck on the head. That ended the argument.
Got a package in the mail today from friends out in PA. Opened it and it was full of plant starts for me and a set of hen salt and pepper shakers and a little rooster pitcher that could be used as a creamer. I'll get a pic later but the hen salt shakers are just the cutest little things.
Hope you are feeling better tonight!Woke up sick and not with it today.
What did she whack you with, your dirty clothes? My hubby washes his own.Ladies, it will get better. After 50 years of marriage I started putting dirty clothes in the hamper.![]()

Got a picture of the hen salt and pepper shakers. I just think they are the cutest things.

And I actually bought DH's big Christmas gift so I don't have to worry about that any more. I so love shopping on line.
