Anyone have fun weekend plans?

I HAD plans... but spouse took the kids to something or other.



They didn't do chores before they left.. so I had to do them... and I don't have any helpers to redo/fix up my main coop fence.

The fence work was going to be today's job. A well.

What are you up to?

Has that dog calmed down some?

That is for sure, really no different than being out on the open ocean.


Great way to limit the people coming to sell at the market. I can see they don't want people wandering in at all hours of the day but a 6 AM cutoff it ridiculous.

Excitement for the weekend. Um, well we went to the Farmer's Market then to Wally World where they SUPPOSEDLY had 6" cake pans in stock. Not only did they not have them, I didn't see anywhere they would have them but were out.

Going to continue working on the top for the cordwood storage/transportation racks for when one is on the porch landing at the house for pulling wood as needed without having to re-stack it in the porch. I've finished 3 racks, have the 2x4 parts of the base cut for a fourth but still need to "de-nail, de-screw" and cut all the 1x4 pieces then assemble. I have some wood to split but not enough to fill 1 rack, each holds about 1 run.

Yep, real exciting plans!

Just cut hubby's hair, shortest cut ever. He asked for it.

My dh only likes to go get hair cuts 3 times a year! So I cut mine 2" so I can manage it longer. lol Mine is usually shorter than his! I don't care. I have such thick hair it drives me crazy.

Finished my quilt, took the bag off the tombstone from last weekend, then made some spaghetti squash stuffed with italian sausage, roasted tomatoes, kale and pak choi.

Also went out to bf's sisters camper this morning to get some of her clothes. Got into an altercation with her incredibly trashy and nasty landlord that was kinda scary. Good thing I can deescalate situations...

Glad the situation wasn't worse.

SCG so sorry your having such a time ... I let my tramadol take hold dug the second room of silky land need to bend going in there it is 4 ft I am 5 but needed it desperately
first time I had horizontal nipples leak but was all over the place think one got stuck in seems to have stopped itself but will fill it on the deck a bit see no one is using it will let the floor dry good then lay deep litter tomorrow

We have to be. Our society as a whole is not.

Helping DH. Soybeans are ready and he's combining.

Paw paws are a fruit with very large seeds that tastes something like a cross between a banana and a mango. I will post a picture later.

SCG, don't go over there alone.

My friend and I had the equine dentist out today, he travels with a veterinarian that I have met previously, a great guy. We sedated and fixed the teeth of four of the horses, fifth didn't need any work done. $750 but it was worth it.

Then we drove up to Sault Ste Marie and went shopping - TSC, Joanns, TJ Max, lunch at Asian Buffet, visit with her mom, Meijers. So much fun.

Now I'm getting ready to head downtown to one of the taverns, my boyfriend and his buddy are playing music tonight so it might be a late night. So glad I get to rest up tomorrow!
