My surgery went well today. I am following Drs orders and not doing much of anything.

Wow! That didn't take long at all to get that done. Yes, do take it easy! Glad to hear that things went well.

Cut down some trees a couple of days ago. One 60' hung up in another tree (leaner on the left)

And the butt stayed on the stump. Though great efforts were made, I could only manage to get it off the stump .... and planted in the ground. Even a seasoned logging wench wouldn't have been able to help so I called Al (the guy who used to sell wood) and he came down with his 3 PT logging winch. Took some mighty pulling but he dragged it out, made a nice furrow in the ground until it dropped.

Aye that is a very strong Wench!

So tired of the wet, rainy, gloom so I made a nice comfort food dinner that is stick your ribs good. Sausage gravy and biscuits:

That is a huge change of pace for you.

I know, it's hard! I just went out and collected chicken eggs, got 6 Buff Laced, and 4 SS! No Tolbunts today, but all 9 of the Tolbunt eggs i candled tonight are growing!

We did get our flu shots today at right aid

got my flu shot last month. Was supposed to get Shingrix (shingles shot) second shot and pharmacist said everyone is out of them. Even my doctor's office said it may be a month or more before they catch up.
