The Old Folks Home

Very cute idea!! Love that shirt.

Going to get snow here again today.
:sick
We had a little bit a week ago, didn't stick. Had a winter weather advisory last night. Ready to leave for work this morn a little late close to 5 have to push it to be on time, DW woke up as I was leaving says drive safe... crap I haven't looked outside yet, just rain woohoo!!

That's exactly it. The good die young. I really like them, though, so I'll keep trying.

Got BF's mom's surprise throw quilt back from the longarmer on Thursday and finished getting it bound today too (nothing like a snow day to motivate me to get some stuff done). She had asked for a quilt for the youngest grandbaby out of what was left of the shirts (after I made the memory pillows out of them). I was able to measure and cut carefully enough to use a specific block design and also get a throw size quilt for her. The baby quilt is still at the longarmer. Not sure if I'm going to give this to her tomorrow when we go over or wait for it all to be done. Probably wait so she only has to get emotional once. It's very warm and snuggly.

Also got the last coat of duck house paint on, made 2 loaves of bread and 24 pumpkin muffins along with a pumpkin bread loaf.

Off to bed!

(Sorry for all the quilt photos, y'all).
I am pretty sure most folks enjoy seeing your quilt pictures, i sure do.

I have been trying to trap this coon for quite a while. It is very smart. I have decided to use marshmallows wired to the live trap trigger. It has been inside the trap but has not been trapped yet.
This early summer I used the dead chicken parts for bait. Had to retrieve the trap out through the woods. Put a big rock on it and boards on the sides. Smart coon , kept avoiding going in it, pulling the bait out the sides. The big rock on top and boards on the sides solved the prob, success

Great! I wired mine to the fence because the coon was flipping it around to get at what it wanted. I put the bait in the middle so it has to go in to get what it wants. I put 2 loose marshmallows in to lull it into a false sense of security. When it grabs the third one, whap!

Hope it works!!! :fl

The dishwasher I bought last year has a sanitation cycle. When the cycle is over, it says sanitized on the display.

I have that too, and use it. I do hand wash some of my dishes though, so I think it's time to add just a little bleach to make double sure they are disinfected.
