Yes i sure did, going to put it in the pumpkin carving contest.I got it on clearance, the guy I went down to earlier this year is indeed going out of business so it was a deal I couldn't pass up.
Cap, did you make that?!!!

Its my pumpkin carving! No duck egg was harmed.Looks like somebody did some fantastic work with a dremel and a duck egg. Great work.
SGC Whow, that machine is really impressive. One of the reasons I don't have a full sized quilting frame is that it is so big. I could probably come up with a place to set it but man I'd have to be doing some really big scale rearranging. Right now I have my eye on this one from Joann Fabrics:

Right now I'm still embroidering on the quilt squares. Plan is to make them into a king sized quilt for our bed. I tried to pick a theme that we both had in common and I came up with Celtic Knot designs since we both have Irish in our family backgrounds. I sit at night and if I get a break during the day and embroider to relax plus keep my fingers and wrists exercised.
It sounds as though you got a great deal that you couldn't pass up on that quilting machine. You will get years of service out of it.
As for Dobies, ours were pussy cats. One would bark at things but they were both gentle as lambs. We would pup puppies with them and they would baby sit for us.We'd come into the room hearing growling and one of the Dobes would have it's foot on a pull toy and the puppy would be pulling at it. They never hurt a living creature.
