So how do you get your hands in there to rip the guts out

My hands have a hard time getting the guts out on chickens, I used to like to keep them whole. Anymore I halve them with game shears, so much easier to clean them out lol.

This rain is driving me crazy, i want to get things done. No end in sight.

Same here... we just cut them in half. We usually skin too... we like eating the skin... but for us skinning is SO MUCH FASTER.

We had some "lint" but we have kicked back up to a hair above freezing and it has been POURING rain! Just on and on!

Better than lint, haven't had to plow yet and I would like it keep it that way.

We got home late Sunday. Thank the lord we're home.
Dh is trying for a speedy recovery. He does not want much help. He's sitting in his recliner till 6:30 pm then goes to bed. He does not need much help. The bathroom is another matter. I'm just so glad to be home. I know dh is to.

How did the trip home from the Hospital go?

The truck would not start I spent two hours trying to get someone to give us a jump. Called AAA it cost 65.00
Stopped and got the battery checked it's good. Just low.
Stopped to get meds and his muscle relaxer is on the national back order list. And Blue Cross would only pay for 7 days of pain meds. So he will be out before his follow up on the 21st. We could have paid for the whole script @ 113.00$. That's crazy! Luckily he still had muscle relaxers here. That he did not take before his surgery. And we have pain meds from other dr visits that we never used them all.
So I think he will be ok. We were wore out and went to bed by 6:30 pm.
