The truck would not start I spent two hours trying to get someone to give us a jump. Called AAA it cost 65.00
Stopped and got the battery checked it's good. Just low.

Why did they charge you, isn't that why we pay annual fees and hope to never need the service?

If the battery is good, but low, I would worry about the alternator. The battery should charge without us thinking about it.

Glad you got home, and I hope DH recovers quickly and his back pain subsides.

The check engine light came on before we went into the hospital. I tried to tell dh we should get it checked before we went in the hospital. But he was hurting so bad he could not think about it.
So now we'll have to.

We got about an inch of 'lint' yesterday. Woke up to 10 degrees this morning. Just plain not funny.

Glad DH is home for both of your sakes, @ chickadoodles. As for the insurance companies....yeah they're pretty much sucky when it comes to chronic pain control. The fact that they miss the ball entirely when it comes to post surgical pain is evident that none of the people who make these rules have never suffered from chronic pain or had surgery.

Ron that apple crisp looks delicious. Ive been making single serve apple crisp. That way with my appetite down dh isn't stuck eating the whole thing. Not that he would mind..........

I'd be calling Blue Cross. Do they fill a week's worth, then refill it the following week? Can the whole thing be filled at the hospital pharmacy? Is it the type, or brand being prescribed that is being denied? Strength? Are those available in a stronger dose, that could be cut in half, to make them last the 2 weeks. Like I said, I'd be on the phone finding solutions. Yes, I'd be making my insurance help with finding a solution too. It sounds like the crackdown on opioids is a little excessive.

Haven't been on here in a little bit, without reading back, reason I got 'on' was wondering how your doing @ronott1 with the fires? In them? Outside and safe?

The fire up North of us is the worst wildfire in California history and the death toll will likely go up. It is 42 as of last night.

Classes are cancelled at UC Davis today but Staff have to report as normal. I am here and have my mask for breathing
