Droopy wings sounds like cocci. I hope she gets better. Thanks @chickadoodles, I was just about to ask how hubby was doing! Sounds like he is doing great. So happy for him, and yes, you too. Miust be a load off your mind.
Ron, a half an inch since May? Gaaaaaah! That is terrible and here I thought we were dry..
Just went out to check my hen. She was standing asleep with her head tucked under her wing and her little wings drooping. I don't know what she has going on but the poor baby looks miserable. On a good note, she gobbled down all three egg yolks I had scrambled for her. I'll take more out for her tonight. I'm afraid to dose her with anything else right now until her body has a chance to recover from the SafeGuard treatment and now the antibiotic. Time will tell.
Thanks, i took magnesium, drinking gator ade and applied linament. Hope it works!I'm sorry your hurting. I hope you feel better soon.
Did he check her for parasites? Sorry she died. One of young marans pullet dead in the coop this morning BF found it already buried it

Someone sent it all to us.Not having rain from may to October is normal here. We live in a desert for half of the year. Normally we get rain in October but this year just a small storm. November is supposed to have about 3 inches of rain but none so far this year
This is an El Nino year so we will likely get 5 or 6 big atmospheric river storms in Dec. to Feb. which will have a lot of water but not much snow.We where way short on rain up here also like 2.5 inches shy of or normal there again almanac said it would be drier also I was taught pretty young to depend on it
