They think bursitis but idk why that would cause a stabbing pain in the back of my shoulder area.

Have you tried a heating pad. My dad had it in his shoulder and always used a heating pad.

I have bursitis in my shoulder, some nights it's pretty interesting when you wake up after having laid on it for a while it lets you know immediately about how unhappy it is.

Ron I hear there is rain in the forecast for you guys finally

Ouch, Cap. Did your building catch up with you? I've gone the bursitis road and it's a rough one. Gotta agree with the suggestion of heat and rest though. But not too much rest because it will just stiffen up more.

Vacation is separate from sick leave.

One benefit of the old IBM. There was no specific sick leave. If you were sick you were sick. Gives people a reason to stay home when they are sick so they don't spread it around. Of course there were always some "dedicated" people who came and shared anyway. Had to be out a long time before they put you on short or then long term sick leave/disability.

That will add 9 months to my service so I can retire earlier to get an extra year which will be a couple hundred more each month in pay.

That is called a "not pay check" at least at my house. Pay checks are what you get when you are working.

You can go to Madison Square Garden and see it live on stage around Christmas this year. Saw it on one of the channels on Jet Blue.

If I remember correctly, my mother would wet, and wring out a hand towel, then put a piece of saran wrap on it, then set the hot pad on that. I think she said the moist heat was better than the dry heat for her bursitis.
