As for the pullets, I had to put one of the RIR's down. She was so badly ate up that I couldn't conceal it and the others just kept snacking on her, including the RIRs. With 3 birds injured, I don't have sufficient quarantine places to cover them all. Right now I have the 2 BO's in confinement and the 2 remaining RIRs in the chicken pen. They are scarred but seem to be leaving each other alone. One of them seems to be in shock as she more or less just stands there in a trance. She's the worst eaten of the 2.For those of you who have not read about it on other threads, hubby buried my old dog Charlie today after he passed away in his sleep. He will be missed.
I'm thinking she also has a Shepard. So sorry for your loss.
I can't remember... was he your only dog?

It's 12 here currently. About to take Ripley for a very frigid walk.
