The Old Folks Home

Both are bathrooms toilets are in need of being replaced but did the wax on the "main" bathroom toilet and did the flapper on master bathroom thankfully we have 2 here the guys use the big one I get the little one most often although BF uses both he does not mess mine up only I get to devil may.gif

i dont want to brag or anything but i haven't almost run myself over this year on my own driveway.
Notice I was smart enough this time to park at the (only mildly hilly) bottom, snap the photo, then walk to the package to retrieve it versus park halfway up, fall, and then have the car slide down the hill.

Glad the box wasn't rained on.

I now have to sort of crawl up out of my house.... the path to my front door has become an icy ramp.

I don't like it.

But hey! I can still park in my very own parking area.

I have to say this is the most concerned anyone has ever been with my plumbing.

The toilet makes this weird running noise when it has no reason to. Kinda like a toilet sneeze, and then it's quiet again for a while until it sneezes again. Been getting more sneezy over the past few weeks.
BF was convinced we needed a new flapper, but bought the wrong part; then he decided it was some rubber stopper, but then bought the wrong part and yesterday he ripped out the original rubber stopper then tried to shove it back in which caused it to continuously leak so we turned the water off to avoid issues previously discussed on this thread (thank you for the warnings).
He's heading to the store again after work today for his last attempt. He's heading out of town this weekend so if it isn't fixed tonight it's going to be my problem.
You can buy kits that replace all the parts, including the seal between the tank and the bottom of the toilet.

You have to treat toilets with kindness and utmost respect, or face their wrath. Always good to have a second one in the house "just in case."
You call sh1tt1ng on it "utmost respect"?? ;)

Well you've never mentioned it before. Of course we are concerned when our friends have problems.

In other news, here's how to tell your driveway is a disaster
UPS guy got that far up! Good for him :D

Hey, you are smart enough that you don't have to almost kill yourself with your own car (when you aren't even in it) more than once to learn your lesson! Brag away!!
