Cherry amaretto jam is a favorite here, as is adding peaches to it.

:drool

I'm down 1 lb since last November. That was a really hard pound to lose. I am down about an inch and a half according to my belt, but it's not reflecting in the scale. I am trying to eat sensibly, not starve myself... because starving myself usually ends after a day of me being really crabby, in a Cookie Monster-like eating frenzy around 7 pm.
I have walked hundreds of miles, done some minor weight lifting/squats/lunges/etc as well as not so much dieting but eating more sensibly, not snacking, etc and my efforts have been rewarded with a pound. :he

What I'm trying to say is, I really want those cherries. In a giant pie. Or jam. Or straight, spitting pits out my window. :lau

It can be frustrating when weight does not drop but it will!

It sounds like you are adding muscle and losing fat mass. When you get to a certain point, the muscle mass will stop growing but the fat will keep shrinking. When that happens, the weight will begin dropping quickly

Good job!

I'm working on my second cup too. The kids had gone somewhere, and now they're back. I will be drinking at least one more cup.
I am finished with morning coffee and will be working on lunchtime tea soon

I found the Faverolles to be more delicate as chicks, but afterwards fine.... and very sweet!

I like the color too.
I got 2 SFs from Ideal in 2012. Smuttiest colored salmon I've ever seen on a SF (the rest of course were pictures of other people's SFs). And they struggle(d) to get an egg to USDA medium. And they thought going broody was a requirement several times a year. Wrote them off my list of "will get again". Hopefully Anais (the surviving 7 Y/O SF) will take 4 of the chicks and be the great momma she seems to want to be.

I've got two new chicks and a low stress coop. Loving it! The big mystery is that the remaining broody had two eggs under her a week and a half ago and suddenly there are 4 eggs under her and she is in a sealed pen. It's like what the...... They have to be materializing eggs in that nesting bucket somehow so now I'm in a wait and see mode since neither of her two marked eggs have hatched yet.

@superchemicalgirl, I feel your pain. A year ago I weighed 147. Now I weigh 113-114. The methotrexate killing my appetite helped but in all honesty, I started that in September last year and at that time had lost 19 pounds. Smaller portions, yes, measure and weigh and read the serving size on anything you stick in your mouth. Cut out the bad carbs. Pasta and all the good stuff. You'll see results.
