The Old Folks Home

Hey all..Lisa finally got to use her Fishula. It's been working good, but mapping and ultra sound shows a narrowing in the lower part of it. Time to go back on and get it revised.
I hope that is faster than getting it to work the first time!

Thanks Ron. Glad to hear that you beat the Jury Duty rap.
Micro! Better late than never! Hope it was great. :)View attachment 1850422
Thanks Cynthia! I love it! Thanks to all for the well wished. Birthdays are great. They remind me that I've made it another year!

Me too! The Trial started on Friday according to the paper. The opening arguments quoted from the DA are awful! It was a very brutal murder

I got called for jury duty right before my nurse's training was to start. I got excused and later discovered the case was a sequestered murder trial. Was always glad I dodged that bullet.

I went out this morning to discover I got hit by a raccoon overnight. Feed cans lids were off. Luckily one was empty ready to be refilled this morning. The other had scratch with very little corn in it so it was passed over. Water jugs, etc scattered all over the place. I need to make sure the hot wire is cleared of debris but it's already 88 degrees with a heat index of 97 and humidity at 61%. Due to hit 96 with thunderstorms later.

Live trap is being set tonight and I will secure the feed cans with cable. Good God. I get the mouse problem under control and now I'm dealing with raccoons. What's next? Polar Bears?

Actually, knock on wood, the bears here are very well behaved. So far we have been very lucky. There is a lot of feed on the ground and no way can I keep it cleaned up. I have seen no evidence that they have been into it. Even my steel 55 gallon drums with feed have been left alone.

ron I probably would have been dismissed as a juror just for saying I believe in the death penalty for certain crimes. That guy should be "toast," Plenty get off the hook in Chicago with just a slap. Of course they stand a very good chance of being gunned down by the victims family.
