Nah... the markers are so when all is covered by snow and I am plowing in the plow truck, I can plow up to the driveway edge but NOT fall into the ditch.

This is the chilie I made darn it was great I did make cornbread muffins also almost have to also made mine this time with beef

White Chili

1 Lb boneless skinless Chicken Breasts, cut in half inch cubes
1 Medium Onion, Chopped.
Garlic (To taste)
1 Tablespoon Oil
2 cans great northern beans
1 can chicken broth
2 cans chopped green chilies
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Directions.

Saute chicken, onions, and garlic in oil. add remaining ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes. Before serving add 1 cup sour cream and 1/2 cup whipping cream.View attachment 1947370

Ooo that looks good and sounds good too. My next canning step will be great northern beans and chicken... When you can chicken you cut it into half inch cubes and saute it a bit for color.... The beans get canned with Chicken broth too.

Soooo DB & SIL got a foster dog on Sunday.... meet Big Guy.

He’s doing well!! He is very sweet.

Basically has no manners though as he is very young, around a year and a half to two years old, and was living at a dog daycare center for a few months before they got him and a shelter before that, so being in a home is all new to him.

I think some of the daycare workers took him home on weekends sometimes but not regularly.

He jumps like crazy and pulls like crazy on walks but he is very sweet and loving and wants to be a good boy. He’s coming along fast having structure and rules and other dogs to model after.

They said they tried to train him at the other place but I think it was hard because there were so many other dogs there and the trainer was there to train paying client’s dogs.

So they said he really wasn’t making progress there so were looking for a new foster so DB & SIL took him and he seems to be making progress with them.

He loves other dogs.

Libby and Franklin are less than thrilled LOL but they are coming around. Small improvements daily.

He’s a sweet guy and beautiful so I think he will be adopted quickly.

He does know sit well at least and is coming along quickly with the rest of it.

I think he just needs a little structure and he will be an amazing dog!! He is very sweet and loving.

He’s a Pyrenees mix of some sort. We think maybe with Lab. He reminds us of Gator. Smaller in body but much bigger head. They said he was 80 lbs but DB & SIL think more like 100 at least. Libby is 75-80 lbs and he’s bigger than her. But he is definitely beautiful. and he tries hard to be a good boy. He’s very good with their dogs too. Just obviously at 80+ pounds the jumping, mouthing, rough play, isn’t really safe, but the good news is he seems to be a fast learner now that he has someone dedicating time to him.

Exactly!! He definitely does! I think a daycare’s just kind of a loud, chaotic environment and he was probably just allowed to play with the dogs all day and then put away or something.

And isn’t he!? I think he is so handsome.

I wish we could take him but I don’t want or need such a big dog.

Thanks! We hope he does too!! He is just beautiful and I know with a little training he’ll be perfect and make someone very happy. He’s a lover and loves everybody. Lots of love to give.
