Ron, I went to it, and read it. The snopes fact checker is correct. That is why I posted what I did. There is no conflict between the snopes fact checker, and what I said. I agree 100% that the vaccine will not be used to kill people, or reduce the population. That being said, the the vaccine will further part of Bill Gates' agenda, and he, and other doctors have even discussed it recently, and publicly.

Sadly, the untrue things about gates and maybe even true things will be used to get people to not get vaccinated. It is likely coming from those that want to cause unrest in our Country.

The US will not get back to normal until enough are vaccinated to create herd immunity.

I am of course old enough to remember polio and life with it. Smallpox was a thing when I was growing up to.

I do not know enough about Bill Gates to decide either way about him. I do care about all of the death from this pandemic though.

I did that too, micro. Went to the school cafeteria. They had these little paper cups, with a liquid to drink. It didn't taste terrible, either. Years ago, it was not uncommon to see people that wore braces, or had limbs deformed, as a result of contracting polio. One of my brother's best friends, his mother wore braces for her lower body, and used crutches to get around. She lost the use of her legs, from having polio.

I've been following this since January and admitted today that I'm getting tired of being afraid that I'll get sick. Not tired in that I'm going to do something stupid that will put me in danger but tired of worrying that I will get this virus. That in itself takes a toll on moral and stresses the immune system.

I hope they do figure out something soon, either vaccine or antibodies. I think I'll be one of the first in line.

micro, you'd have to check, if your state is allowing the hydroxchloroquine/z-pac treatment. If so, it does work, and works well. That being said, there will always be those that are allergic, or for whatever reason, can not take certain medications. That's with all medications, including vaccines. I know I can take a Z-pac, if needed. I do have a reaction, but it's not anaphylaxis, so I'm good.

@CapricornFarm, I use bird netting over my runs. Easiest way I have found to do it even in windy weather is to start with one end, put it up and secure it, then get under the net and start working your way around the edge of the run that way. I use hand bent wire s hooks and since I use chain link there are built in 'hooks' too snag the netting with.

The only thing I hate about the stuff is that it doesn't hold up under the weight of ice or snow. Mine tears loose at the anchor points and drops to the ground.

The best I've found is 'Deer X' I'm on my third summer with some of it, even after two 'icy' winters.

Yes, I've taken z-pac before for sinus infections the malaria med hydroxcloroquine is frankly a bee octh when it comes to side effects especially potential damage to patient's vision...which is better than being dead, still.

I'm still taking Prolia which is an immuno suppressor. I had H1N1 back when it hit and last year caught the flu just from being within 25 feet of a person who was hacking up a lung. Bad enough being 66 years old without having the cards stacked against you even more.

Our 29 acres are our Island right now. But this week we need to make a feed run at some point and a food run. Thankfully at this point our area seems to be pretty stable with the county above us holding at 11 positives and our county with only 2 and it's been that way for about 5 days now.

My brother refuses to wear a mask( he has heart disease & diabetes) - men, go figure !!.

I remember the polio shot and was furious that my parents gave permission to have it. I was scared too death of shots. The one with the few drops on a sugar cube was much better but, until I got i, I thought they were lying that it would be that easy and NO needle.

My sister's late husband had polio when he was young and he didn't have the use of one arm (forget which). When he needed to use two arms and couldn't he would throw a nasty temper tantrum and break things. He was plenty scary. So my sister and her older daughter learned fast how to fix anything - so he wouldn't "go off" on them.

My son 34 refuses to get even a flu shots. When he was a very young sprout he had blood drawn a few times - never a peep out of him. But getting a shot - no way. I'd rather have the shot. In fact at Target I know the pharmacist since the 90's. Our sons both went through awful acne at the same time. Thankfully no scars from it.

I always ask him if there are any new shots for me. If you get one- they give you a $ 5. cpn. to buy something in Target. He said I've had every shot he can think of. Can't believe how I got over being afraid of shots. But seriously my pharmacist is great. I never feel a thing. Last time I had a shot tho he was training a new guy to do it and I had my doubts but, honestly I didn't feel the needle at all.

I use wire over my runs to keep the chickens safe, but this is over my garden. I do have 2 silkies in there, and don't want the hawks to kill them.

Diva, Both Dh, and Dd #1 wear masks if they have to go out. I would too, but Dh really doesn't want me going out in public for now, so I've honored his request to stay home. Anything I need, or want, if I can't get it delivered, they will get for me. I try to arrange a pick-up order, for groceries, and such, to minimize risk of exposure. Dd #1 goes, she's got gloves, mask, and disrobes in the garage when she gets home, and tosses her clothes in the washer, then runs to shower. In the meantime, I have Oxine mixed in a spay bottle, and mist down her shoes, then mist the grocery bags. I take things in, then wipe everything down with a dishrag, that's been in fresh soapy dishwater. So far, so good.
