The Old Folks Home

I hate varmints like that!
Hate voles. I fenced against squirrels and a vole went through the chicken wire and decimated my radishes (well, the tops) and lumberjacked an eggplant. @(&#$@* :rant

Yeah, I hate them also. If it was anywhere other than my garden I would turn our Jack Russell mix loose and tell her to 'kill the critter!' and she would be digging until she found it.

So far that is the only thing that they have hit in my garden although I did find some funky holes like the ones in the peas in my sweet corn but it is starting to come up. :fl

I purposely planted my garden near the house to 1) keep my walking distance closer and 2) protect it from the deer that hit it last year and ate my sweet potatoes down to the ground.

Now I'm fighting voles! :rant

I like Folgers French Roast, or Cafe Rico Rico, Cuban coffee.
Currently I have a Costa Rican coffee. My favorite is Kenya AA and quite a few of the Ethiopian coffees are very good.

The grands went, and checked the incubator. Of course, the first one called to the others. They all looked, then sang Happy Birthday to the new chick.

Sure would have been cute as dickens to see
