Chickadoodles --
Just FYI: It's not uncommon for heart to do a bit of tachycardia upon laying down. Has to do with the change in blood pressure elevation from vertical to horizontal as the body evens out. BUT that is why they suggest not having a heart attack cardiac episode patient lay down while waiting for help as it'll exacerbate irregular rhythms.

I don't know how to really describe the feeling I get when I lay down except it feels like a
balloon that is filled with water released and pumping water all over as it spasms.
That's what my chest feels like when I lay down. But the pressure in my upper chest and neck is so intense it scares me. My heart is pumping so fast. I have to get up and check my pressure. The night before last my pressure was 178/87 and pulse was 80. This was after trying to lay down for nearly 2 hours.

Sister had to wear the heart monitor thingy for a bit...like a big walkie-talkie strapped to her. She says now they have vests which are less cumbersome. I think her athleticism has kept her heart defect from being a severe problem. For as many maladies as she has suffered, she is really fit. Even her dog is on a heart monitor occasionally to check his murmer (young and very active cattledog mix). The two are made for each other!

Thanks for letting me know the size of it. I will keep your sister in my prayers. :fl
I am sure they are a great comfort to each other.

:hugs

Ikey is laying in front of the AC vent :lau

It is HOT and we just went for a hike. And trained first so we’re both very tired and hot :lau

And ignore the dirt on the seat. There was a section of the trail where one side was high and dry and the other side was mud and of course he walked right through the mud. :th

Plus a lot of it was quite sandy.

I’ll clean the car later :lau

My kids think I'm replacing them with chickens and goats and such. Maybe I am, OH well. I come into the house when they are around.

I have 30 chickens and only use around 100 pounds of food a month! What kind of food are you using? Better food lasts longer because they eat less.
My kids are grown and they KNOW I've replaced them with chickens! 😂 I am officially the crazy ole chicken lady! ( I was also thinking that's ALLOT of chicken feed to go through! )

Nice!

You went from an empty nest to a nest of chicken eggs!

I agree. So the planned isolation was just a ploy to get a new huge TV!! ;)
Bruce, he was feeling really bad at the time, so he was really planning to hole up in the master bedroom. Late yesterday afternoon, his fever broke, and he started feeling better. I'm not saying he felt perfectly fine, but too good to be cooped up, and confined to bed.
