Indeed. Which is why we get along so well. Birds of a feather and all that.

I am NOT immune to the occasional mean thought. The neighbor man is up working on his roof. Dh commented that is his wife must really be a tyrant to have driven him to that extreme (indicating he was going to jump). Dd #1, and I never said a word. He then commented that disagreeing with one's husband, not keeping the house in pristine order at all times, not cooking only the foods that the husband likes, etc. are what drive men to extreme measures like that. (He wasn't really being serious, but his humor had undertones that I don't encourage).

He went to return a couple things to that neighbor, and see if he needed a hand at whatever he was doing. When he left, my daughter mentioned how we never bought into Dh's tirade, and kept silent. I told her, "no, but I almost offered to go get the ladder for him". She spit out her coffee, laughing so hard.
