So you "season" it, like with cast iron?There is a trick to keeping Stainless Steel appliances pretty. Take a paper towel, and put few drops of olive oil on it, spreading them around. Now scrunch the paper towel. You don't want it too oily, but spread evenly on the paper towel. Wipe the appliance, so there is a very very thin film of olive oil, and let it set. Later on, go wipe down the appliance with a clean paper towel, or cloth to buff it. Over time, this conditions the metal, so it's easier to maintain.
