The Old Folks Home

Whoo hoooooooo, Sara got a mate!! The first few minutes she was trying to dominate K.E. but that didn't go over well. He didn't get nasty, but he didn't let her run him round.. He stood his ground and she got the picture. Sara is half the size of her hatch mates, so I thought a bantam might be in order. Stopped by a gal's house in Red Level that raises them and she said, 'Which one do you want?' She had 5 in a pen by themselves and couldn't give them away.. but she did!! I named him K.E. after Mr Bray who lived across the road from me in Seminole. His Sarah passed away day before yesterday. Ms Bray was a real kicker.

Congratulations!

It was 60% yes and 40% no.
That would pass in the senate ;)

I still don't understand why it was possible for McConnell and crew to change the appointment to the lifetime position of Supreme Court Justice from 60% to simple majority. If ANY position should require a supermajority, that is it.

Apparently the California vote was in 2018 but the senate has to decide to actually do something about it with a vote by 2/3 of the body. I guess they haven't done anything.
The US Senate? Gets a say in time switching in California????
