I've been around BYH awhile. I just stay off this thread because I can't keep up with it. It doesn't help I started watching BYC 6-10yrs ago and try to keep up with it. I also watch a few less constant threads here.

Yes ma'am.. People have been using it orally since the roman times. Some people even make it at home. It's great for colds, flus, viruses and the like, not to mention toothaches, sinus infections and the list goes on and on and on.

She makes it and is a true believer of it gave me a bottle she made

Good Morning, sourland and penny. Sorry to hear you lost one. I've got to figure out where to put Bonnie, my BO hen. Doesn't look like she's wanting to breed, and Charlie is insistent.. She has a torn comb this morning. Seems like they are all getting into trouble at the moment.

As I agree with Penny there is also a new hen introduced into any situation or flock is like a 22yr old male at the bar and a new 18-40 yr old female walks into the bar. Unless is was me then let's not go there.lol New is new. If you separate them then reintroduce it's new again. Give them time and maybe make sure he has enough on his plate to stay full (he can cover a lot of hens like a teenage....) to not keep jumping on her.

Hey never add one hen always do it in twos or more ..
Also never name a bird you may have to eat.

I let him into a pen with 5 hens.... he had plenty to choose from but kept after her. Seems he doesn't like the light colored hens, but prefers the dark ones.. I wonder if they actually care about color.
