The Old Folks Home

I got a raised bed built yesterday and drug out to the garden. Thig was made of two old oak plants that used to be part of a corral so it was heavy as you can imagine. I have one more to build but frankly my muscles need a break.
Moving heavy things is what tractors are for!

Today is DH's and my 14th wedding anniversary!
Happy belated anniversary Micro!

We are having record high temps for April. It was 88F here yesterday
:sick

That's what my husband said, @bruceha2000. Then I explained that the wood that I used wasn't all that great. I intended it that way as I don't know how many more seasons I will be able to garden and don't want to turn loose of big bucks on cedar or green treated 2X10s to build more beds.

If I feel like I'm holding my own next year, I may add another bed.

This morning he told me he had to get the tractor out and let him move the bed and I told him I doubted if it would hold the screws the 80 feet it needed to be moved. So I put it together and then dragged it to the garden,

I just got notification that one potato order is going to ship today and the other on the 13th of this month. Time to start plowing and discing!

Good morning OF's. Boy am I sore today but the weather is great.
vacuumed along with about a pound of dead lady bugs that were in the window sills. Dopey things get in to hibernate then can't get out.
Lady bugs of the orange Japanese beatels that look like them? They are not good bugs like the lady bugs. Also I use the 4-wheeler to exercise the heeler.

Do you still have snow???? :old
No, we sent it all to you ;) The snow we got last week only lasted a couple of days. Sister-in-law managed to get in some snowshoeing just one day, it was pretty sparse by the next day even though it was near or below freezing and there was some cloud cover. Now we get mud/mush season.
