@CapricornFarm, dear lady, I'd tell you to take it easy, sit back and keep that knee up with some ice on it but I know you! I'd have to throw myself in front of you to slow you down and you'd just climb over me to get to your latest project. Ask me how I understand that so well? :hugs

No, I don't slow down when I need to either and I have a feeling when the rheumy sees my swollen right foot tomorrow what she tells me I ain't gonna like to hear.

I'll probably be having to take my own advice.

Actually, all I did today was regular chores and built a door for the run. Then hung it up in place. I need to buy wire for the roof. I did rest with my pillow under my knee at least 3 times today. Plus rather than walking all over, I drove the Mule.
 
@CapricornFarm, you are doing much better than me then. I haven't spent nearly enough time off my foot today.

You have a Mule? I'd love one. DH wants a mini-truck with a dump bed. I don't care what we get as long as we get something. I know it's in my future. How far into the future I don't know but even a 4 wheeler would make life a lot easier for me.. DH's 70th birthday is coming up in a month. I bought him the telescope of his dreams for the monumental big 70 which is what he asked for. He wants to do some astro photography. He has done some in the past but the telescope that he has now is not up to the task. This one is a 12" Neutonian behemoth that when we took it out of the box and looked at it my first impression was 'whow! I bought you a hot water heate'r. The thing is as tall as I am but very cool. While he was setting it up, he casually asked me what I wanted for my 70th birthday in two years and without hesitation I said, a 4 Wheeler!

Hopefully I won't need it before then.

Yes, we had a Mule in TN. Sold it when we moved back to FL. Bought another one when we moved here to VA. It has a dump bed. I would have loved one with more seats, but hubby said we didn't need it.

Good morning! Two cups down the hatch. Lots to do today!

How'd we get so old? I refuse to get old. Older is ok. Can't stop that. Sometimes it scares me that when my mom was my age, she had less than a year to live. When my dad was my age, he'd already been dead for over a year.

My mom's brother, on the other hand, lived to be 96. And still had his marbles in the right order.
