The Old Folks Home

Ha, Mom's physician a little oriental, kept telling mom she needed to stop smoking or she would get lung cancer... Mom didn't but Dr Yu Ying Sing Juan did and died long before mom. Mom's cancer was the other end.. well ya know.
I have seen that happen before with Dr.s

Sorry to hear this Micro. I need to find a new doctor. I told him I had a sore throat for 2 months and he didn't even look at it. I get it about Covid, but hell it's just ridiculous. Now my ear tube has nearly wiggled it's way out. It was supposed to be a long lasting tube. Sigh. Now I also have a knee leaking joint fluid into my leg. I want a new body.
Me too. If nothing else if you get a new body can I have your old one? I think it's in better shape than mine.

I'm going to do an in person appointment with my DO next month and tell him what happened and find out what my options are for finding a new Rheumy. I know there is one in Hannibal. I'd rather go there than Columbia if I had to.

I think sometime some of them forget that they are working for us. Most doctors have no idea of what is going on at the front desk. It's a shame they don't because most of them would be stunned and doing a lot of firing if they did.

Hi Guys. Just set down for the first time today after spending the day outside doing power planting before the rain moved in. ALMOST got it done. Didn't move fast enough I guess.

Anyhoo. Saw this on Imgur and laughed my head off. It's priceless.

Our shepard fear gosh miss her more a dog you don't need to worry about

If I told you the rigamarole I had to go through with the VA, you would vomit!
My DH uses the VA. It was a nightmare in IL. I could probably at least match you experience for experience. It's a lot better here in Missouri. They act like they actually care about the Vets and the big Truman Center in Columbia is top notch. The one in Iowa City gives me night mares.

Gulf Coast VA was really good.. Central Alabama sux.. especially when you are so far from a clinic as I am, and they are 'trying' to arrange community care... Takes months... Still waiting on an appointment with an internal specialist for the thyroid issues, and the referral went out in December.
