The Old Folks Home

Hmmm. You have a mystery then.

Are you fighting a cold or infection? Are you watching your diet and portion size? Are you under stress? All could reflect in your blood sugar readings.
well, the Doc. took my BP and , for me mine is always low, 116/65ish 70 to 120, well my 2 hour drive in to the Doc. I think was irritating enough to bump it up to 138/70 hahaha but she only took it once and it could have been a fluke, so I'v taken it everyday and it is 116/70 and BGL is 96,, I m good to go - we had turkey, green beans and carrots for dinner, I am not a big eater, we ate at 5, I took my BGL at 7:30 122 I think thats normal after a meal. A dead Thyroid will irritate things hahaha,

We are super healthy we watch what we eat Grandpa has inherited high BP from his mom, so we have spent for ever trying to keep that down.

Nearly 2" of rain here last night in an hour then it quit, just enough to make pens temporarily soggy, the grass grow like weeds and bump up the humidity.
I measured the tree 3' up from the ground. 126" circumference / 3.14 x 4 gives a rough age of the tree at 160 years old. Young for a live oak. Just think of the old plantations with the long drives and the trees with Spanish moss hanging from them. Those are live oaks.

Yrs ago bluestone quarry I was working at someone dumped a bunch of bags of garbage. Called the DEC, no joke household garbage with their mail and address. They were fined and had to clean it up.
Not sure why people do that. I don't know about all of NY but our county dump is free. I don't work/live far from ours. Haven't paid for garbage pick up in almost 20yrs. Last time we paid for pick up, they skipped a week or missed us not sure but then charged us double for a "excessive amount of garbage"...
They haven't received a dime from us since.
Even tires are free, up to 15. I change a lot of tires for people. Asked them why 15? Why a odd #? Woman there said it didn't matter if I had more, they way she figured it I could bring some, a friend could bring some for me and/or could bring more next day. She said county just doesn't want to see them "thrown over the bank"
We pay for garbage pickup in town and the land fill charges quite a bit for dumping there. Some things are free like ewaste though

Here's my trash story...

The trash collection service asked if we could leave a gate unlocked so their big truck could back in there and turn around more easily. I said that the other company that did one of the neighbors managed just fine. He said, well their truck is smaller.

That got me thinking. I called one neighbor who used the same service as we do and asked what he paid for trash pick up (ours was billed every quarter). He said he thought it was around $40. I asked, per month? and he said heck no, it was per quarter. I was quiet and he said why, what do you pay?

We were paying $140 per quarter. From the SAME company!! We were both speechless.

I called the service the other neighbor used (with the smaller truck), set up a by-the-bag deal, and now pay about 6-9/month, as we usually have 2-3 bags/month.

I called the $$$ service to cancel. The woman who answered asked why, and I told her. Dead silence. Then, in a small voice, she said, "Oh. Yes, I can understand why."

We did get a bit of a refund. Now everybody uses the small truck service.

The Chick Depot hatchery in Gladwin, MI. About a 2 hour drive from my house.
Your ears will be complaining but those chicks will have a much shorter and comfortable commute than shipped chicks.

Decadron was a long lasting steroid when injected.
😱 They have you on long term steroids for RA?!? DW was on them for a short time with not much to show for it. Then they put her on Enbrel. She's now on Humira. Ask your new doctor of they would be appropriate for you.

pretty sure I heard Reagan say one time, something to the effect that if our first settlers/forefathers, landed in California first, they would have went no further .
Probably, have you looked at the land west of California? I doubt many would take off into the desert not knowing what was beyond. I suspect the only reason people went west to CA was because there were already reports from the sailing explorers.

went postal on him. Managed to keep it nice.
Micro, that is an oxymoron.

Problem is he is turning into a butter ball. We've already had to let it out once!
Time for less food and more exercise!
