Supervising visits this morning. Yesterday afternoon, I brought the brooder out to the LR that has Karen Corn Puff and Fancy Pantzer in it so Gen Lee wouldn't feel so lonely. I took the screen off and CP jumped up on the side and perched there chattering to me. Gen Lee spotted her and came within 2', then turned and went into the kitchen.. then came back and approached her. She never budged an inch. He pecked at her foot, and she pecked his head. LOL, she's only a third his size. Well she turned her back to him and kept on perching where she was. Eventually he jumped up and perched on the far end. Next time I looked he was in the brooder with FP, eating out of their cake pan, and occasionally pecking FP's head. FP was perched on the edge of the cake pan butt inward. He didn't move, just stayed in place. Eventually I saw CP hop down into the brooder and begin to eat too. GL pecked her head (mine mine mine) and I couldn't believe my eyes what happened next. She flew right up in his face and pecked him back. POW! He stood there frozen and she pecked him on the side. LOL. At that point I put my hand between the two of them, then gently picked up GL and put him back in his crate. But but but Maaaaaaaaaa... I can believe the set of cajones CP has on her.

3 of 8 looks like a maybe, they stay till the end, if they are a dud I'll try again later on, can't quit trying,

Lord have mercy, Dh is on the tractor, digging up the side yard. It's ok. It's where he wants to put his shop. It has to be dug out some anyway. I think he'll put some type of aggregate to reinforce it for the foundation, after he gets it dug out.
