The Old Folks Home

Well I'm on glass three of my magic potion. Starting to feel some ominous rumblings. The funny thing I find about miralax is that everything you read about it says that you can take no more than 34 grams per day in a single serving.

Then the GI specialist comes along and tells you to drink the whole bottle of the stuff in a span of hours. :lau It's like....whaaaaatttttt?
I suspect the "usual" use for it is a bit different than the result the GI specialist wants :D
Good thing you mentioned this, I have to put the trash out early on Thursdays. I remembered your procedure was on Thursday and was thinking you were doing the prep a day early. Then I checked. Yep, I do have trouble remembering what day of the week it is! That happens when you have no set schedule and don't go "off farm" but once or twice a week.

Hey Bruce, whatever triggers the memory works for me. We laugh and say that retirement is 6 Saturdays followed by a Sunday. We do have little triggers though for what day of the week it is. Tuesday is the day I put the pills out for the next week. Wednesday is our HAM club's net day. Friday is Alien day. Don't laugh but I used to clean house on Friday (still do) and I would turn on some silly alien documentary TV show on DISH to listen to while I worked. So we say 'Is it Alien day yet?" Saturday is another HAM radio Net day and Sunday is Do your own thing day. The rest of the days are just fillers and don't matter. LOL.

The thought of Gatorade makes me gag at this point in time.

The dentist office took a copy of the judges' orders but I really doubt I will get anything. Half the time I call, no one answers and I told them if I don't get the email today, I would be calling tomorrow. DHs turn! The judge and insurance both think DH should be approved but aren't getting the info they need from the dentist. What can you do? The Drs I can contact through email if there's a problem but a dentist there is no way to contact if their office help decides to cause a conflict. He will likely end up going to a different dentist but has already done the x-rays and gets enough of them in a year to last a life time and every new dentist wants to do their own x-rays.oops... Insurance probably won't pay for a second set of x-rays in a years period. So what now?... Waits till the infection sends him to the ER so the insurance has to pay and then his Crohn's gets active again?? I don't have problems dealing with insurance companies and Dr offices, just dentists!
I actually had a root canal once in the situation when novacaine wouldn't work. It was horrible! Never went back there again.

I'm sharing this in a few places....
Look what one of our daughters brought by tonight for my birthday. She made a jean quilt with my husband's..her dad's jeans! I love the photo on it! She picked out the colors for it.
