The Old Folks Home

Hi guys!

The robins are telling me that spring is here along with the migratory geese that are flying over and the increase in morning bird songs but the temps not so much. Only in the 30s here the past few days and the sun has only managed to peek through twice in at least 4 days.

Meanwhile, mother nature keeps noticing that our mud is starting to dehydrate and keeps raining so it's nice and consistently......muddy.

But I have a few tomato seeds germinating and sprouting and I'm getting seed catalogues. That means spring...right?

Hope everyone is staying well, your flocks are healthy and you are up to your eyeballs in eggs!

Just locked down batch #2 of eggs! And cleaning up the wood and leaves and rocks from the goat pasture. So i will be planting more forage there. Lots of dead trees, mostly pine, for hubby to cut up from the bark beetles.
